In the age of technological marvels, the sweeping robots have become a household essential, assisting us in our never-ending quest for cleanliness. But with so many models available, which one truly stands out? In this article, we delve into the world of high-end sweeping robots, evaluating six models: iRobot Roomba s9+, DreameBot L10s Ultra, Ecovacs DEEBOT X2 OMNI, Eufy RoboVac 11S, and lubluelu s60d. But first, let's understand what makes a great sweeping robot.
Performance: How well does the robot perform its basic task of sweeping? This includes its ability to navigate obstacles, avoid falling, and cover the entire floor area effectively.
Efficiency: How long does the robot take to complete a sweep? What is its battery life like? Is it energy-efficient?
User-Friendliness: How easy is it to set up and use the robot? Is the remote control user-friendly? How about the app interface?
Design: Does the robot have a sleek and modern design? Is it easy to maintain and clean?
Research: We delved into the technical specifications of each robot, reading user reviews and researching their key features.
Setup: Each robot was set up according to the manufacturer's instructions, ensuring a fair comparison.
Battery Life: Each robot's battery life was tested under standard conditions, including different floor types and cleaning modes.
User-Friendliness: The ease of setup, remote control, and app interface were evaluated. We also considered the learning curve for each robot.
Noise: We will let each machine work alone in a quiet room, and then record its noise decibels
Intelligence: While we can’t measure human machines in the same way we measure human brain intelligence, we can test whether they can intelligently avoid obstacles, plan cleaning routes, and identify potholes.
Most important cleaning efficiency: In order to test the dust collection ability of the smart robot vacuum cleaner, we used an industrial vacuum cleaner to thoroughly clean the test space before each test, and then placed the same amount of standardized dust. We believe that if we only test regular cleaning or casual collection of household dust If some dust is tested, then because the dust has not been quantified, accurate test results will not be obtained. In order to make the work of the robot vacuum cleaner more difficult, we prepared two different types of dust. On the carpet, the dust is mainly finer, while on the floor, the dust is heavier, lumpy and solid. Secondly, in order to understand how the robot works, we mixed some phosphor powder in the dust, through which we can detect and understand how the robot collects and processes dust.
3.1 iRobot Roomba s9+
The iRobot Roomba s9+ boasts an advanced cleaning system and powerful suction. It has a digital eyes system that aids in navigation and obstacle avoidance. However, it lacks in battery life and can be quite noisy.
In the cleaning test of melon seed shells, 3g of original melon seed shells were used. The iRobot S9+ sweeping robot had a better cleaning effect and all the melon seed shells were swept away;
After cleaning the melon seed shells, check the bottom rubber brush for wear. Therefore, it is not recommended that rubber brush-type sweeping robots clean hard-shell garbage to avoid wear;
3.2 DreameBot L10s
The DreameBot L10s Ultra has a modern design and impressive battery life. It's also quite efficient in its cleaning capabilities. However, it struggles with carpets and has a complex setup process.
Design & build
This smart household helper comes in a package weighing around 13 kg. The comparatively slim base station with dimensions of 42 × 34 × 57 cm (16.5 x 13.3 × 22in) needs to be near a plug point and should be easily accessible from above to be able to conveniently change the two containers for fresh and dirty water.
In addition, the base station should not be placed on a wooden or carpeted floor in order to avoid moisture damage from possible water leakage. By the way, this advice applies to all mopping and vacuuming robots.
3.3 Ecovacs DEEBOT X2 OMNI
The Ecovacs DEEBOT X2 OMNI is a robust robot with impressive battery life. It's also easy to set up and use. However, it lacks in terms of navigation and often gets stuck on obstacles.
Ecovacs has done it again with a fantastic new robot combo, the ECOVACS DEEBOT X2 OMNI. It received excellent scores in the debris cleaning tests, and exceptional scores in the long and pet hair testing. Additionally, it had near-perfect scores in both the crevice and edge testing. Paired with its incredible Ecovacs App, the app enhances the user functionality to have complete control and customization for your home cleaning solution.
Unfortunately, with such outstanding performance and features, it comes with a high price point. It can be a little intimidating, but in our opinion, it delivers its value through performance, reduced manual maintenance, and user cleaning customization features.
3.4 Eufy RoboVac 11S
The Eufy RoboVac 11S is lightweight, easy to maneuver, and has a long battery life. It's also quite efficient in its cleaning abilities. However, it lacks advanced features like scheduling and remote control.
Eufy might be a smart home company, majoring in the best video doorbells and home security cameras besides robot vacuums, but unlike some, making easy-to-use products is its USP. So it comes as no surprise that one of its entry-level models, the RoboVac 11S, is devilishly simple to use. There’s no app, no WiFi control, no voice control – just a charging station, remote control, and a sleek, slimline vacuum cleaner.
This isn’t to say it’s a basic appliance. If anything, much of its simplicity comes from a thoughtful design and an excellent balance of functionality – there’s enough flexibility to be able to switch between spot, overall and perimeter cleaning, and three power levels, but not so many options that it’s overwhelming. A programmable timer means you can quite easily set it and forget it.
Eufy BoostIQ RoboVac 11S at Amazon for US$229.98 The other reason to choose RoboVac 11S is that it’s Eufy’s slimmest RoboVac at 2.8 inches / 7.25 cm tall, enabling it to sneak under beds and other furniture to keep dust bunnies at bay. And even with its shorter stature, there’s still a 0.15-gallon / 0.6-litre dust canister hidden inside.
The Eufy RoboVac 11S is effective at collecting fine dust and larger debris from hard floors, but struggles to give medium and thick pile carpets an effective deep clean. Eufy claims the robot vacuum will last for 100 minutes between charges, but this is in Standard mode on hard floor.
3.5 lubluelu sl60d
And finally, the lubluelu sl60d. This model stands out for its superior performance across all categories. It not only has an impressive battery life but also offers unparalleled suction power. The lubluelu s60d's design is sleek and modern, making it easy to maintain and clean. It has an advanced obstacle avoidance system and offers both scheduling and remote control functionality. The user interface of the accompanying app is simple and user-friendly, making setup and operation effortless.
Powerful cleaning power
The suction power of SL60D is as high as 4000Pa, which I did not expect. During our cleaning tests, it quickly captured dust, hair, and other tiny particles, keeping my floors clean at all times. Moreover, it also has the function of sweeping and mopping. Just replace the disposable rag and it can complete wet mopping work while cleaning. It is extremely efficient and can quickly complete the flat cleaning task of 150 square meters.
Intelligent control, easy operation
SL60D supports APP remote control, allowing me to start, pause or adjust the cleaning plan anytime and anywhere. We set a custom cleaning area on the AP. In this way, I can save time during my busy workday and can easily focus on cleaning dead spots in my home. When the experiment was over, we were surprised to find that it completed the cleaning of the designated areas.
Safety protection, worry-free use
The anti-collision and anti-fall functions of the SL60D are really practical. During the cleaning process, if it encounters furniture or other obstacles, the SL60D will intelligently avoid them to avoid damage or being trapped. In addition, SL60D can quickly identify and automatically retreat at high places such as the edge of stairs, effectively preventing accidental falls.
Battery life and noise
When we finally tested the working life, the battery life of the SL60D was close to (or even exceeded) the time indicated on its website. After we fully charged it, it took a total of 124 minutes from starting to completely stopping working. Even large households don’t need to charge frequently. In addition, the noise of the SL60D during operation is very well controlled, and there is almost no sound from the machine operation.
the SL60D avoided obstacles more effectively than other robots we tested. It's also one of the quietest robots we've tried, which comes in handy if you have frightened pets or are easily distracted.lubluelu Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo
Our recommendations above are what we think are currently the best robot vacuums and the best lubluelu for most people. We factor in the price, feedback from our visitors, and availability.
If you would like to do the work of choosing yourself, . Be careful not to get too caught up in the details. While no vacuum is perfect for every use, most are good enough to please almost everyone, and the differences are often not noticeable unless you really look for them.
